Histroy

After knocking on the door, the old lady answered and the wolf immediately picked her up and swallowed her whole before putting on her night gown, cap, and glasses, then taking her space in the bed.

A few minutes later, the young girl also appeared at the cottage, noticing how the door was strangely left open. Walking in, she noticed grandma in the bed with the curtains closed. She studied her features closely and knew something was different about her. She began to scream when she realized the imposter with the bulging belly was the wolf she had met earlier that day. The girl was then too eaten by the wolf, and he quickly retreated back into the bed to sleep of his latest meal.

Unbeknown to him, a woodcutter was chopping trees nearby and had heard the horrifying screams that came from the cottage. He charged into the house and saw the wolf snoring away in the old lady’s bed. Swiftly and silently, the woodcutter took a pair of scissors from grandma’s kitchen and cut open the wolf’s belly. Out popped Red Riding Hood and her grandma unscathed.

Now, free from the danger that plagued them just a few minutes before, the three sat down, ate the cake and drunk the wine that Red Riding Hood had brought for her grandma before the young girl headed back into the forest to the safety of her home. Before drifting off into a sweet slumber, she vowed never to stray from the path or talk to strangers again.
