Card Rankings

The cards are ranked from highest to lowest as Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2. The cards same ranks are considered equal no matter what suit they belong to.

Selecting a Denomination

A denomination is the amount of money that you bet. A $1 denomination is selected for you automatically. You can click the arrows around the denomination to pick out a different denomination.

Buying Credits

Video poker gives you credits for the coins you insert in it. These credits are used to place the bet. You get one credit for one dollar. To buy credits, you can use the coins valued at $5, $25, and $100. Click a coin to insert it in the machine. You can withdraw your coins by clicking the CASH OUT button.

Note: You should select your bet value before inserting coins. If you do the opposite, your coins will be returned to you.

Placing a Bet

Click the BET ONE button to bet one credit. Refer to the payout table on screen to find your winnings for one credit. If you want to bet more credits, click the BET ONE button multiple times. Or to place the maximum bet worth five credits, click the BET MAX button. If you see the payout table, you find that higher bets pay higher returns.

Drawing the Cards

To get your first hand, click the DRAW DEAL button. You have the option to hold or discard your cards to get a winning hand. Click a card to hold it and then click the DRAW DEAL button to substitute the cards that you didn’t select. Double or Nothing

Multi Hand Games

Multi-hand play is available in Double Double Bonus Poker. You can play up to 100 hands in one go. You bet will be divided equally on all hands.

The multi-hand game screen looks different. Unlike a single-hand game, the paytable is not displayed on the screen. You need to click the Paytable button to see it. To hide the paytable, click the Paytable button again.

Click the Deal button to get a hand of five cards. Initially, all hands consist of same cards. Once you decide what cards to hold and chuck out, click the Draw button. The cards that you did not hold will be replaced by fresh ones.

You may want to step up the card dealing speed by using the Speed Deal feature. This feature is only available in multi-hand games. To activate this feature, check the Speed Deal box. The card dealing speed will increase visibly. To turn the feature off, clear the box.

A multi-hand game has more chances of hitting top-level winning combinations such as 4 Aces, Straight Flush, or Royal Flush. And it quickens the game speed as well. You however should decide if you want to play it or not. The concern here is the amount of bet. To get high returns, you need to place higher bets. Even a $1 bet distributed among 100 hands can cost you $100. The winning odds are still there. And the Double or Nothing feature will trigger, take care when you play it though.

Strategy

Double Double Bonus Poker is an interesting Video Poker game. It is a variation of Double Bonus Poker that offers huge payouts While the Jacks or Better concept forms the basis of the game, this variation can still be counted as “a simple game with high bonuses.” Like any other Video Poker game, this game also has no particular strategy to fetch a win for sure. However, holding the appropriate cards to build a winning hand can be a strategy.

Play with The Bet Max Option: The Bet Max icon offers higher payouts. On clicking on this icon, you wager the highest and consequently are in a position to win as high as 4000 coins, if you build a Royal Flush (10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of same suit).

Hold Aces: Hold Aces because you have two options of winning combinations. Four Aces and Four Aces with 2, 3, or 4 are winning hands holding 800 and and 1600 coins respectively and Four- of- a- kind ---2,3,4 with an Ace -- also has a high payout of 800 coins on Bet Max.

Hold the Sequence: If you are dealt a hand with three cards in sequential order, hold the sequence only. Discard the other cards. This is because you already have three ways of winning different Straights. This is particularly useful when playing multi-hand versions of Double Double Bonus Poker.

Do not Hold Unmatched High Cards: Do not simply hold a high card when it is unmatched. It will reduce your chances of building better hands.

Do not Hold Two Pairs: Do not keep two pairs as it reduces the odds of winning three and four of a kind. However, hold Jacks or Higher cards as Jacks or Better is a winning hand.

Play the Double or Nothing Bonus Feature: Every time you build a winning hand in Double Double Bonus Poker, play the Double or Nothing Bonus Round. All you have to do is select a card higher than that of the Dealer. If your card beats the Dealer’s card you double your bet amount

Tips

Double Double Bonus Poker offers superior payouts than Double Bonus Poker. It’s always a good idea to play any gambling game with a strategy. You may find the tips given below very useful when you’ll bet real money to win.

Try playing the game without money for some time. Get comfortable at playing the game. You will come to know when and how a bonus feature triggers and how to handle it carefully.

If your target is to win big, you need to place higher bets. However, keep and eye on the money that you wager. Sometimes, it’s too late to realize that you have lost your entire month’s salary to win a week’s pay!

Always gamble responsibly. If you can stop when you want to, it is best.  Keep a cool head when you keep losing. Your luck may strike and you win your money back. But if it doesn’t happen in a couple of turns, don’t keep losing hoping that the next hand would return your money back to you.
