How to play

Card Rankings

Before you begin, have a look at how each card ranks in Bonus Poker Deluxe. Cards of same rank (regardless of suits) are equal. Also, they are ranked from highest to lowest in the following order: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2.

Selecting a Denomination

A $1 denomination is automatically selected for you each time you open the game. To select a different denomination, such as 5¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, or $5, click the arrows on the sides of the denomination.

Buying Credits

You need credits to place your bet. Use the available $5, $25, or $100 coins to buy credits. Click a coin to insert it in. The amount of credits that you can get for a dollar depends directly on the denomination selected. To collect your coins and winnings, click the CASH OUT button.

Note: If you select a denomination after putting coins in the machine, your coins will be returned to you. In case you wish to continue playing, you need to re insert coins to buy required credits.

Placing a Bet

One credit is equal to the minimum bet. Click the BET ONE button to bet one credit. Click this button multiple times to bet multiple credits. You can place the maximum bet by clicking the BET MAX button. Maximum bets offer maximum returns.

Drawing the Cards

After you place your bet, click the DRAW DEAL button to get a set of five cards. Take a look at your cards. Your goal is to get a hand that is listed in the paytable. You may want to keep certain cards and discard the others. Click a card to hold it, and once you hold enough cards, click the DRAW DEAL button again to replace your discarded cards.

Double or Nothing

This bonus feature can double your winnings at a hand. When it triggers, you get a prompt displaying your current winnings and the amount that you can win next. Click Yes to accept it, otherwise click No.

To double your money, you must draw a card higher than the Dealer’s card. Select a card and click the DRAW DEAL button. If your card is higher than the Dealer’s, you win. If it’s not, you lose all your winnings for that hand. In case of tie, the round is triggered again.

As long as you’re winning, the Double or Nothing feature keeps triggering.

Multi Hand Games

Bonus Poker Deluxe offers you to play multiple hands at the same time. You can play as many as 3, 10, 52, or 100 hands at the same time.

A single- and multi-hand games use the same rules. However, a multi-hand game screen looks different than a single-hand one. On the left side of the screen, you can see the table that lists expected returns for each winning hand. The original payout table is not available on screen. To see it, click the Paytable button. Click the Paytable button again to hide the paytable.

To get your first hand of cards, click the Deal button. You are dealt the same cards for each hand that you’re playing. Click the cards that you want to hold and click the Draw button to replace the cards that you did not hold.

If you see that the cards are being dealt quite slowly, you can increase the dealing speed by activating the Speed Deal option. To do so, check the Speed Deal box. You will see a significant improvement in dealing speed. To turn the feature off, clear the box.

Like a coin, the multi-hand games have two sides. The good side of playing multiple hands is accelerated game speed and increased chances of getting winning hands. The bad side however can finish your account balance quicker than you expect. Sooner or later, you may find it useless to distribute a $1 bet among 100 hands. Do Not Hold the Unmatched High Pay Cards: High ranking cards are any Ace, King, Queen or Jack. Keeping an unmatched high-ranking card only decreases the potential to build better hands.

Hold the Highest Card: If you do not have winning hands and no winning pairs, hold the highest card particularly if it is a Jack. By keeping that one Jack you may get a second Jack and win.
