How to play

Card Rankings

Bonus Deuces Wild cards are ranked from highest to lowest in the following order: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2. The wild card in the game is 2 and it is ranked the highest n the bonus feature round Double or Nothing.

Selecting a Denomination

Before you can place your bet, you need to select a denomination. A $1 denomination is selected for you automatically. You can select a different denomination between 5¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, and $5 by clicking the arrows on either side of the denomination.

Buying Credits

You need credits to place your bets. A bet costs you one credit. For every dollar, you get different amount of credits. To buy credits, put some coins available in the denominations of $5, $25, and $100. You can take out your coins by clicking the CASH OUT button.

Note: You will get back all your coins if select a denomination after putting coins in the machine.

Placing a Bet

You need to place a minimum bet to begin playing. Clicking the BET ONE button places the minimum bet. You may want to place a maximum bet. To do so, click the BET MAX button.

Drawing the Cards

To get your first hand of cards, click the DRAW DEAL button. You will be dealt five cards. If you’re lucky enough, you may get a winning hand as a head start. But if you don’t, you can replace your entire hand or selected cards in it. To select the cards that you think can make a particular winning combination, click to hold it. Click a held card to release it. To replace the cards that you selected, click the DRAW DEAL button.

Double or Nothing

This bonus feature can double your winnings at hand. When it triggers, you get a prompt displaying your current winnings and the amount that you can win next. Click Yes to accept it, otherwise click No.

To double your money, you must draw a card higher than the Dealer’s card. Select a card and click the DRAW DEAL button. If your card is higher than the Dealer’s, you win. If it’s not, you lose all your winnings for that hand. In case of tie, the round is triggered again.

As long as you’re winning, the Double or Nothing feature keeps triggering.

Wild Card

2 is the wild card in Bonus Deuces Wild. It can substitute a card of any rank or suit to help you get a winning combination.

Multi Hand Games

If you wish you can play up to 100 hands at the same time in Bonus Deuces Wild. More hands certainly gears up the game speed. There are no additional rules for a multi-hand game. The only difference you can notice is the way the screen looks. Payouts corresponding to different winning hands are listed in a table on the left side. The paytable is also included in the game but its’ not visible by default. To see the payatble, you need to click the Paytable button. You may want to hide the paytable after having a look at it. To do so, click the Paytable button again.

Click the Deal button to get five cards dealt. These five cards are same for all of your hands. Click specific cards to hold or discard them. To replace the cards that you didn’t hold, click the Draw button. You will be dealt distinct cards for each hand.

Sometimes, it is hard to see a combination of cards. You need to magnify the cards if you want to have a look at them. To magnify the cards, move your mouse over different hands that you played.

When playing multiple hands, the card dealing speed may go slow. You might want to whip the speed up. Use the Speed Deal feature to do so. Check the Speed Deal box to activate this feature. You can deactivate this feature any time by clearing the Speed Deal box.

You may think multiple hands increase your chances of winning. It may not be true all the times. One good thing about playing multiple hands is the increased probability of getting winning hands. Usually, in multi-hand games, the denomination selected is very high. To win more, you should place a bigger bet. And if you place bigger bets on as many as 100 hands, your bankroll may go empty sooner than you expected.

Strategy

Bonus Deuces Wild Video Poker is a card game full of fun, rewards and excitement. It is an interesting variation of Video Poker. If you are looking for a defined strategy to win, then you will be disappointed to know that there is no such strategy. However, there are certain strategies that can be deployed to increase your winning odds.

While betting on Bonus Deuces Wild Poker, always choose to play with Bet Max to increase the payouts on winning hands. On Four Deuces with an Ace and on Royal Flush, you can get 1250 and 4000 coins respectively by betting on Bet Max.

Hold the wild cards of 2 or the Deuces as they can substitute any missing card and build a winning hand. The wild card 2 can help to build Wild Royal, Five Aces, and any other Five-of a-Kind winning hands.

When the cards are dealt and a pair of two cards of same rank appear, hold the pair. It will help to build a Three-of a-Kind or four-of a Kind winning hands.

After every winning hand, a Double or Nothing Bonus round is triggered, in which you get an opportunity to double your wins. You can play this Bonus round by clicking on the ‘Yes’ button. You have to select one higher card (out of the four down cards) than the Dealer’s up card. After every win in the bonus round, the Bonus feature re-triggers and gives you the opportunity to double your wins. However, do not continuously opt to play the bonus feature as there is also the risk of losing the winning amount.

In the game of Bonus Deuces Wild, there are options to play with One Hand, Three Hands, 10 Hands, 52 Hands and 100 Hands. Play multiple hands to increase your odds of winning.

Tips

Strategy plays a major role in winning at Bonus Deuces Wild video poker. You may classify the game under chance-based games, but that is not appropriate. You get a chance of selecting appropriate cards to get a winning hand.

Just as you would learn how to drive before driving your vehicle on city streets, spend some time understanding the game before betting real money.
