Slot machines have a pay out due

Folks think that slot machines that haven’t been paying out for a long while are going to pay out any time soon. That is not true. There’s no such thing as “pay out due” for a slot machine. Slot machines are governed by a computer chip with a program called the Random Number Generator (RNG). The RNG is like the microprocessor in your computer. The only thing is it is always generating a bunch of numbers that relate to a position in the slot reels. So the odds of winning the jackpot is the same in every spin.

When someone wins a jackpot right after you, that was your jackpot

Again because of RNG, this is not true. The program in the RNG in the slot machine is constantly changing numbers, even when nobody is playing the slot machine. When you press the spin button, the RNG takes a microsecond or less to pick a number and give you the slot results. So you can’t really press at the same exact microsecond and have the winning number come up to win the jackpot. It’s just impossible.

Casinos can control slot machine payouts

They’ll also have to go through the Gambling Commission and have witnesses while they’re doing this whole operation.

Your odds of winning are better if you bet more than one coin

Betting more than one coin in the slot machines NEVER increase your chances of winning. Sure the amount that you win would increase but never your chances. You always have the same odds of winning the slots no matter how many coins you put in. A different computer chip calculates how much you’re betting. This chip has nothing to do with the RNG chip, which controls the result of a slot machine spin.

Casinos will reward loyal players with slot machine jackpots

Think about it, if casinos are giving out slot machine jackpots to loyal players, there would be a lot of ‘loyal players’ and the casinos would have to shut down. First off, it’s completely illegal if any other parameters except the RNG to determine the result of the spin or determine when a jackpot is going to be hit. There are also a lot of people who played online casino for the first time and winning a huge amount of money. They even have a life changing experience because the amount is so big.

If the payout percent is 98% you’ll get back $98 of every $100 you bet

You have to understand a bit about how online casinos are giving out the payout. If they say the payout percentage is 98% that means you’ll get back $98 on every $100 you bet simply does not happen. It IS theoretically possible but that 98% is based on a long period of time that you are betting -- longer than anyone could really sit at a slot machine. So what really happens is when you will you would get more or less than the 98% payout percentage.
